Bio

A creative self-starter interested in advertising, languages, the arts, and automotives, Michael Lyden graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration focusing on Marketing and International Business. Michael hopes to begin a career developing international advertising campaigns for multinational corporations. To him, frequent traveling and relocating is a plus, as he finds exposure to multiple cultures to be a precious commodity.

Interest in foreign languages led him to Drexel University's International Area Studies program. This major was to be Art, Language and Business based, but after enrollment, he found it to be hardly that. True, language studies were mandatory, and as such, there was room for multiple languages in the curriculum, however art and business seemed entirely absent, and political science seemed all too present. After landing his first co-op job as a graphic designer of his own accord (and turning down what was promised to be a thrilling librarian job offer) Michael decided he would prefer a different direction in his university studies.

This desire led him to the LeBow College of Business at Drexel, specifically to the marketing concentration. In efforts to remain as internationally-minded as possible, Michael took as many International Business and foreign language courses as his schedule could support. These languages were primarily Russian and Spanish, however he was able to take Italian and German, and hopes to continue these studies at a later date.

MBA studies may be in the future for him as well, hoping to increase his knowledge base and understanding of advanced marketing and business techniques.

Currently, Michael is studying Industrial Design, focusing on Transportation Design at Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
